A Ceremony Filled With Family & Meaning
One of the most meaningful parts of Rachel and Conner’s day was their ceremony, officiated by Rachel’s grandma, which immediately made everything feel deeply personal. Conner’s grandma also took on the role of flower grandma, a moment that brought so many smiles as she made her way down the aisle. Surrounded by their family and closest friends, their vows were heartfelt and full of quiet emotion.
They also included a knot-tying ceremony and a sand ceremony, filling a single jar together. These moments felt simple and intentional, a reflection of how they approach their relationship.
During the ceremony, I found myself paying attention to the small things just as much as the big ones. Grandparents smiling, parents holding hands, and family members sharing those knowing looks. Those are always the moments that mean the most over time.
Portraits Among Willow Trees, Creekside Views & Golden Fields
After the ceremony, we took full advantage of everything Creekside Farms has to offer. We spent time taking portraits beneath a large willow tree, which is one of my personal favorites, with soft summer light filtering through the branches. We also made our way down by the creek for a few quiet moments together, creating a peaceful, natural backdrop that felt intimate and relaxed.
As the sun started to set, Tammy (The wonderful venue owner at Creekside Farms) kindly drove us around on a golf cart so we could reach all of the spots we wanted in time for sunset. That golden light gave us some of the most beautiful images of the day. The portraits felt easy, glowing, and completely natural.
Personal Touches & Viral Wedding Moments
Rachel and Conner filled their wedding day with details that felt true to them. One of the most memorable moments happened during the shoe game, when Rachel surprised Conner with an Indian motorcycle as her wedding gift to him. As Rachel’s dad wheeled it out, Conner took off his blindfold and stood there completely stunned before breaking into the biggest smile. The two of them hugged while the room reacted right along with them. This moment was a viral hit on my instagram account... reaching over 20 million views and 1.3 million likes, and even getting the attention of Indian Motorcycles!
The reception details felt just as thoughtful. Their centerpieces included pheasant tail feathers and antlers, a simple but beautiful touch that fit Rachel and Conner's love for hunting perfectly in with the natural setting at Creekside Farms.
Bridal Style & Effortless Elegance
Rachel looked absolutely stunning throughout the day. Her half up, half down braided hairstyle was done by her best friend and maid of honor, Reagan, which made getting ready feel even more special. Her gown paired beautifully with a long, flowing veil that gave us some truly timeless bridal portraits.
After dinner, Rachel changed into a second dress that was made using pieces of her mom’s dress, adding an incredibly meaningful layer to the evening. During their dance, her background as a dancer shined through as she confidently showed off her skills.
A Dance Floor That Never Slowed Down
The dance floor stayed full for over six hours and somehow never slowed down. They were surrounded by a great party crew of friends and family who love to party and dance, and it showed. Rachel and Conner wrapped up the night with a private last dance before heading out through a bubble exit, which felt like the perfect way to end the night.
